With over 35 years of experience as a foot and ankle surgeon, I built a career dedicated to helping others. In private practice, I provided exceptional care to my patients while also mentoring aspiring medical professionals. During this time, my passion for real estate grew as I personally bought and sold numerous homes, gaining valuable expertise along the way.
In 2020, I made the decision to transition from medicine to real estate, combining my deep commitment to client care with my love for properties. Just as I dedicated myself to my patients, I now devote the same attention and care to my real estate clients, guiding them through the home buying and selling process with professionalism and empathy.
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, I was raised and educated in Michigan, where I cultivated my focus on medicine. After practicing for over a decade in the picturesque foothills of North Georgia, my wife Robyn and I relocated to Asheville, North Carolina, when the local hospital closed. Not ready to fully retire, I embraced real estate as my second career, inspired by my family’s involvement in the industry—my son in Michigan and son-in-law in Maine are also successful real estate professionals.

When I’m not assisting clients, I enjoy life just outside Asheville with my wife Robyn, an energy healer and psychotherapist, our Maine Coon cat Luke, and our yellow Labrador Molly. In my free time, you might find me crafting furniture in my workshop or exploring the area’s beautiful trails through hiking or biking.
